STEP 1

Click link: You A Mic And A Light Bookings

  • Fill out Submission Form: Include Name, Contact Info, Talent Category, Social Media, and or your Performance Link

STEP 2

  • Go to EventBrite (“You A Mic And A Light” ) or Click EventBrite Link on this Page

  • Pay Performance Submission/Entry Fee: $10.00

STEP 3

After completing STEPS 1 and 2 you will receive a confirmation TEXT or Email stating that - “You Have Been Added To The Line-Up”, or you will receive a TEXT or Email stating that - “We cannot add you to the Line-Up at this time.”

If we cannot add you to the Line Up - We will immediately refund you your Submission Fee.We will also add you to the Guest List for the next scheduled show.

*All Entries must pay a Submission Fee to be eligible to be CONFIRMED.

*NO BOOKINGS at the DOOR. Everyone must be “Pre-Booked” before the day of the show.

ADDITIONAL INFO/RULES

  1. All submissions will be viewed.

  2. Sample Performance Categories: Include: Storyteller, Poet, Comedienne, Singer, Spoken Word, Musician, Writer, Actor/Monologue

  3. Each Performer will be given a minimum of 3 minutes stage time.

  4. Once Added To The Line-Up expect additional show details such as Call Time to be sent to you by TEXT or EMAIL per contact information you provide.

  5. A maximum of 20 submissions will be added

  6. 10 STAND BY Slots will also be made available in the event of :

    a, No shows

    b. Adding another Show (due to demand)

    c. Flow Of Show

  7. Confirmation Decisions will be made within 24 hours of submission.

  8. Once the Line -Up and the Stand By List has been established no more Performance Submission Tickets will be made available and the Performance Line -Up will be announced on-line.

  9. If you submit and for some reason are not booked, you will be notified via TEXT or Email as to why -

    Eg: Sometimes it’s as simple as you’re a singer but five singers submitted and were accepted before you. A blend of varying performance categories and styles is what we strive for.

  10. Selected BOOKED ARTISTS will have the option to participate in You A Mic And A Light Promo Campaign, wherein BOOKED ARTISTS will be shot and featured within format promoting Events.

REMEMBER THIS IS AN #AUDIENCE DECISION SHOW. NO OTHER MEANS OF DETERMINING THE WINNER WILL BE RELIED UPON. THE GREATER THE NUMBER OF ACTIVE SUPPORTERS YOU HAVE IN THE AUDIENCE / APPLAUSE RESPONSE, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
